Amazon Inspector now supports scanning Lambda functions and their associated layers for security vulnerabilities and code flaws, including custom proprietary application code. This expands the capabilities of Amazon Inspector and provides actionable security findings with detailed information and remediation suggestions, which can be aggregated in the Amazon Inspector console and routed to AWS Security Hub for automated workflows.
