Hackers Render Tesla Car Unsafe to Drive, Win Themselves a Model 3

A group of security researchers at Synacktiv won a Tesla Model 3 and cash prize for hacking the infotainment gateway of the car.

The hack would theoretically allow someone to open the car's doors and hoods or even take full control of the car.

Tesla has already released a patch for the security flaw uncovered.

>>This is not the first time a vulnerability has been found in Tesla cars. In the past, hackers have been able to gain access to key fobs and vehicle controls.
