Levi Strauss & Co. is partnering with Amsterdam-based Lalaland.ai to create hyper-realistic AI fashion models of every body type, age, size, and skin tone to make the shopping experience more "personal" and "inclusive."
According to the popular jeans maker, the AI-generated models will complement its ongoing strategy of diversity and inclusion while continuing to hire human models of all sizes.
The company believes that customers want to see models who look more like themselves and potentially expand the number of models per product by using AI-generated models alongside human models. Other fashion companies can now use virtual models built with AI imaging through a new site called Deep Agency.
