The Shift from Content to Context

"Content is king." This phrase has been around for a while, but it has never been more relevant than today when it comes to AI assistants. It is widely used in the AI community, as well as in journalism and marketing. In 1996, Bill Gates wrote an essay titled "Content is King," where he predicted the rise of the internet as a content-driven medium. It was a bold prediction at the time, but it turned out to be true. AI assistants, historically, have been content-driven. Their power comes from the vast amount of content that has been ingested during their training phase.
