Rancher Dashboard

Once you log in, you should see the Rancher dashboard. The home page provides an overview of the clusters managed by the instance. To the left, you have the sidebar which contains the main sections of the Rancher UI. We will go through most of these sections in the remaining parts of this guide.

  • Cluster Management: You can access this page by clicking on Global Apps > Cluster Management. This is where you can manage, import, and create clusters.

  • Continuous Delivery & GitOps: You can access this page by clicking on Global Apps > Continuous Delivery. This is where you can manage your GitOps pipelines using Fleet. Fleet should be installed on your Rancher instance to use this feature.

  • Virtualization with Harvester: You can access this page by clicking on Global Apps > Virtualization. If you are using Harvester to manage your virtual machines, you can access it from here.
