While the cluster agent (cattle-cluster-agent) is responsible for managing the cluster resources, the cattle-node-agent is used to interact with nodes when performing cluster operations. Examples of operations include creating or backing up etcd snapshots, upgrading the Kubernetes version, performing node maintenance, and so on.
