Prometheus Pushgateway: The Push Model for Short-Lived Jobs
How it Works
The Pushgateway works by providing an endpoint to which metrics can be pushed using HTTP requests. When a metric is pushed, it is stored in the Pushgateway's internal memory. Prometheus then scrapes these metrics from the Pushgateway at regular intervals, just as it would from any other target.
