Rancher Extensions

Extensions allow users, developers, and Rancher partners to extend the functionality of the Rancher UI. Users can make changes to their UI functionality independently of Rancher releases. Some built-in extensions are available by default, including: AKS Provisioning, EKS Provisioning, GKE Provisioning, Virtualization Manager, and more. This list may vary depending on the version of Rancher you are using.

New extensions can also be installed by adding a repository URL. This URL can be a Helm, Git, or an OCI repository. You can add more extensions by clicking on Manage Repositories on the Extensions page (the 3 dots on the top right corner) and providing the URL of the repository. Once the repository is added, the extensions will be available to use. Each extension has its own URL and documentation. For example, if you want to add Kubewarden UI to Rancher, you should read the documentation available at: https://github.com/rancher/kubewarden-ui

To test this feature, we can add some test extensions. Click on Manage Repositories and add the following repository:
