Amazon OpenSearch Service announces Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion

Amazon OpenSearch Service has introduced a new managed data ingestion tier, OpenSearch Ingestion, which enables petabyte-scale data ingestion and processing.

  • The service allows users to filter, transform, redact, and route data prior to indexing it in OpenSearch-managed clusters or serverless collections.
  • OpenSearch Ingestion is fully managed and automatically scales underlying resources for demanding and unpredictable workloads, eliminating the need for users to manage a multi-node cluster for data ingestion.
  • It can be used as an alternative to self-managing Logstash or other streaming data pipelines.
  • Users can create a pipeline in the AWS Management Console or start from a blueprint for common ingestion use cases.
