Apple's Hidden Bitcoin White Paper the Latest in a Long List of Easter Eggs

Apple's macOS contains a copy of the Bitcoin white paper written by the pseudonymous founder, Satoshi Nakamoto.

The paper was reportedly shipped with every copy since Mojave, and Twitter user, Joshua Dicken, first discovered it on his Mac.

The paper can be found in the 'simpledoc.pdf' file in the 'Contents/Resources' folders of macOS devices. The discovery adds to Apple's long history of including Easter eggs and hidden messages in their products.

However, the inclusion of the white paper is particularly surprising, given Apple's previous harsh stance on cryptocurrency and NFTs.
