AWS Application Composer: Visually Build Serverless Applications Quickly

AWS Application Composer is a visual builder that simplifies and accelerates the process of architecting, configuring, and building serverless applications using AWS services. It allows users to browse and search for AWS services, drag and drop them onto the canvas to expand the architecture, and connect resources using policy templates, environment variables, and event subscriptions.

The tool also supports local testing, peer review, and deployment through AWS CloudFormation and continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Improvements since the preview launch include the ability to connect Amazon API Gateway resources to Amazon SQS directly without routing requests through AWS Lambda and a visual diff of template changes made when connecting resources. AWS Application Composer is now generally available in nine regions and free to use.
