AWS Config now supports 24 new resource types

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the addition of new resource types to AWS Config, its configuration management service. AWS Config now supports the following resource types: AWS Backup vault, AWS Lambda, Amazon RDS, and Amazon S3.

  • AWS Config allows customers to track changes to resources and compliance with policies, and the addition of these resource types provides customers with more visibility and control over their AWS infrastructure.
  • The new resource types are now available in all AWS regions where AWS Config is available. AWS Config is a valuable tool for organizations looking to maintain compliance, security, and governance of their AWS resources.
  • The addition of these new resource types provides even more visibility and control over their AWS infrastructure.
