Bytebase has released version 2.0, which now supports 12 databases to manage mundane daily tasks such as dealing with databases.
- Bytebase 2.0 incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) to provide index advice for slow queries and uses natural language to query the database from the Bytebase SQL Editor.
- Bytebase has a new cloud offering and has moved some key features from the paid plan to the free plan including role-based access control (RBAC), all SQL lint rules, and lifting the instance limit from 10 to 20.
- The platform aims to bring the GitLab/GitHub experience to database development.
