Exasol brings SaaS-flex to on-prem and public cloud systems

In-memory data warehouse and analytics system Exasol is extending its separation of storage and compute to hosted public cloud and on-prem installations, providing customers with flexibility, performance, and cost advantages over serverless systems. The move allows customers to keep data ownership while taking advantage of the benefits of a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) architecture.
