Faster CPython at PyCon

A fast, two-member team at Microsoft's request has put together significant performance improvements for CPython. They describe a specialized adaptive interpreter and plan for future PEPs, all of which was covered at PyCon. The interpreter will specialize in common cases, and while it won't always be fast, it will provide a significant boost in performance for many Python programs that usually won't require any changes.
