Google Cloud is building its most powerful supercomputer to date

  • Google introduces a new cloud supercomputer, powered by NVIDIA Tensor Core GPUs, available in private preview for training machine learning models.
  • The new virtual machine uses Google's custom-designed 100 Gbps VPUs, allowing for ten-times network bandwidth, and is also powered by next-gen Intel Xeon processors, promising exaflop AI performance.
