Google Cloud is building its most powerful supercomputer to date

Google introduces a new cloud supercomputer, powered by NVIDIA Tensor Core GPUs, available in private preview for training machine learning models.
The new virtual machine uses Google's custom-designed 100 Gbps VPUs, allowing for ten-times network bandwidth, and is also powered by next-gen Intel Xeon processors, promising exaflop AI performance.
The A3 can be deployed on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Compute Engine, providing autoscaling, workload orchestration, and automatic upgrades.
Google's focus on B2B AI offerings indicates a more cautious approach following the launch of its ChatGPT rival, Google Bard.
