Google Plans $1.1 Billion Expansion at Data Center in Finland

Alphabet Inc.'s Google plans to spend €1 billion to expand its main data center in Finland, citing easy access to green energy as a key factor. The expansion will increase staffing by 25% to 500 people over the next two years. Google has not disclosed the impact of the investment on data capacity at the site.
