Service accounts are generally available in Grafana 9.1, replacing API keys for enhanced security and granular access control. API keys will no longer be created after Aug. 31, 2024, and will be fully deprecated by Jan. 31, 2025. Developers must migrate to Service Account Tokens (SATs) to maintain automation workflows.
