Hugging Face releases its own version of ChatGPT

HuggingFace, an AI startup, launches an open-source chatbot called HuggingChat.

The chatbot is powered by AI and can perform various tasks like writing code, drafting emails, and composing rap lyrics. Developed by HuggingFace and Open Assistant, the chatbot aims to build an open assistant of the future.

However, the app is still in its early stages and has a few shortcomings. While HuggingFace can generate text, it can quickly derail depending on the questions asked. Despite these issues, the open-source push is gaining traction.
