Data infrastructure semiconductor solutions provider Marvell Technology has debuted a 51.2 Tbps cloud-optimised networking platform designed to address network bottlenecks arising from artificial intelligence and machine learning in datacentres.
- The platform consists of switch chip Marvell Teralynx 10 51.2 Tbps and electro-optics platform Marvell Nova, whose PAM4 1.6 Tbps capacity makes the platform interoperable between switch and optics, enabling lower costs and quicker deployment.
- Marvell's platform aims to improve bandwidth in datacentres, support faster workload processing and reduce time spent on networking by 1.7x, according to the company.
- The Nova electro-optics platform is being sampled by select customers, while the Teralynx 10 will be sampled from Q2.
