Microsoft outlines framework for building AI apps and copilots; expands AI plugin ecosystem

Microsoft announced the expansion of its Copilot system to include plugins from OpenAI's GPT language model and also support for Bing search. The plugins aim to bridge the gap between public and private data and provide answers to complex questions. The company showcased the copilot stack as an AI development framework helping build next-generation AI applications that retrieve real-time information and safely take action on behalf of the user.
