Microsoft has reportedly ordered at least two rival search engines to cut access to Bing's search index. The basis for the order involves AI chatbots that have been using Bing's index to feed their AI chat tools.
Neeva and You.com are among the companies at odds with Microsoft.
While Google is the company most prominent on the internet, Microsoft holds a potentially serious consequence as rival search engines use Bing's web search datum and index, which is expensive and perpetually requires servers to inspect the internet.
