Netflix recently migrated its mobile app's API layer from Falcor to GraphQL with zero downtime, using a federated architecture. The migration plan involved implementing a GraphQL shim service on top of the existing Falcor API, followed by A/B testing, replay testing, and sticky canary testing to validate performance and ensure functional correctness.
