PostgresML raises $4.7M to launch serverless AI application databases based on Postgres

PostgresML is an AI-powered extension for Postgres that simplifies application development by integrating machine learning tasks directly into the database. It allows for quick prototyping and deployment of AI applications, reduces costs, and improves performance.
PgCat, on the other hand, a custom Postgres load balancer, enables scaling and efficient multi-GPU inference workloads. The technology is MIT-licensed and already being used by companies like Instacart and OneSignal.
The company behind PostgresML has raised $4.7M in seed funding and is hiring engineers. Users can try PostgresML for free using their serverless cloud.
