Spanish startups file Microsoft cloud competition complaint

Spanish startup association has filed a complaint alleging anti-competitive practices by Microsoft in the cloud market in Spain. The association claims that Microsoft's dominance in operating systems and productivity software is pushing customers towards Azure, creating artificial barriers to competition.

The complaint also alleges that Microsoft's licensing terms restrict competition and make it difficult for startups to compete equally in the cloud market. The European Cloud Provider Lock-in group has also raised concerns about Microsoft's licensing practices.
