Connect Codex to MCP Servers via MCP Toolkit

OpenAI Codex just leveled up. It now hooks into Docker’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) Toolkit, which means it can tap directly into 200+ infrastructure tools—like Neo4j graph databases—as if they were built-in features.

With MCP, Codex doesn’t just code. It runs containers, spins up data models, eats semi-structured data for lunch, and fires off Cypher queries like a local. All through a secure, curated interface.

System shift: AI dev tools aren’t only writing code. They’re also wiring up real infrastructure - and they know exactly what’s running under the hood.
