Setting Up the Foundation

In the following steps, we are going to create the initial infrastructure for our learning project. This is what we will need:

  • A workspace (a server) where we will install all the necessary tools to manage our Kubernetes clusters.
  • A Kubernetes cluster where we will deploy our applications.

For both of these, we will use DigitalOcean, a simple and cost-effective cloud provider. DigitalOcean can be replaced with any other cloud provider of your choice, including private providers like OpenStack or VMware.
