When AI agents become contributors: How KubeStellar reached 81% PR acceptance

The KubeStellar Console team learned that AI coding agents improve after engineers build deterministic feedback loops into the codebase. Engineers who grant more autonomy give agents more room to guess, with no new correction signal... read more

Extending AI gateways with Rust

Every gateway ships with a set of built-in policies. Authentication. Rate limiting. Request routing. Prompt guards. These cover most use cases. But what about the ones they don’t cover? What if you need to add a custom header based on a database lookup? What if you need to transform a request body i.. read more

How Code works in large codebases: Best practices and where to start

Anthropic breaks down the patterns behind successful Claude Code rollouts in monorepos, legacy systems, and codebases spanning thousands of developers, arguing that Claude Code performs agentic search over a live filesystem instead of relying on a RAG index that drifts out of sync with active engine.. read more

Claude’s next enterprise battle is not models: it’s the agent control plane

New data shows Microsoft and OpenAI leading agent orchestration, but Anthropic's rising stake signals a shift in control of AI infrastructure. Anthropic's move from model to orchestration layer hints at a strategic battle over agent runtime platforms where operational AI work happens... read more

Tokenomics: the 62.5-minute rule for Claude's cache

Ryan Skidmore works out the tokenomics of Anthropic's prompt cache and lands on a single rule: if you expect to need a cached prefix again within 62.5 minutes, keep refreshing it with cheap reads; past that, let it expire and rewrite, because a 5-minute cache write costs 1.25x base input and a read .. read more

AI Is Doing the Testing Now

Brijesh Deb's third "comfortable lie" of software testing is that AI is now doing the testing: coverage dashboards hit 80%+, regression suites maintain themselves, and leadership concludes that risk is handled, while the experienced testers who knew the domain quietly get redeployed or made redundan.. read more

Shift Left Did Not Fix It

Shift left has become a buzzword, but merely moving testing earlier doesn't address the core issue of authority and decision-making in quality assurance. AI may offer quicker testing, but it doesn't comprehend risk like human testers do - beware the dangerous lie that AI can replace thorough, critic.. read more

Terraform is dead

Graham Gilbert argues Terraform is effectively dead, kept alive only by inertia: HCL forced engineers to translate intent (the diagrams, paragraphs, and constraints that actually describe systems) into a DSL that nobody naturally thinks in, while fragmenting infrastructure, application logic, polici.. read more

On the 1st of July 2017, the Indian government introduced the Goods and Services Tax (GST) to the general public. This tax replaced pre-existing taxes with a destination-based, multi-stage, indirect tax system. The GST applies to all eCommerce and Magento stores within India. The World Bank has stated that the GST is one of the most complex tax systems worldwide due to its intricate nature.

As the GST is bifurcated into multiple tax slabs, it has become more difficult to implement such a complex taxing system in Magento 2. Managing a multi-vendor marketplace entails dealing with numerous vendors who sell various products on your platform.

This necessitates the computation of GST tax rates based on the product and its category, which can be intricate due to varying tax brackets. An automated system is needed to collect and accurately compute vendor tax rates.

The Magento 2 Multi-vendor Indian GST Extension, also called the Magento Multi-vendor GST Module by MageComp, confidently calculates GST for products sold through your Magento stores by vendors. The module fully complies with the Indian government's GST standards and prominently displays the vendor's GST number and summary in all Magento order documents.

Why choose MageComp’s Magento 2 Multi Vendor Indian GST Extension?

Allows admins to enable/disable the module for global, category, and product-specific configuration.
Orders that are placed with the GST module showcase a detailed bifurcation of tax rates in the order view, credit memos, invoices, new order emails and PDFs.
The GST module displays a detailed SGST and CGST tax bifurcation in the order details.
The module automatically calculates IGST, CGST and SGST based on the products added to the cart.

Benefits of Multi Vendor Indian GST for Admins

Allows admins to mention their GSTIN, CIN and PAN number in all order details.
Admins can import the product-specific GST via a CSV file.
Admins have the option to include or exclude GST tax rates from the product prices.
Admins can easily set their business origins and apply IGST (interstate Magento GST)
The module allows the admin to upload an image and a digital signature to display in invoice PDF.
Admins have the option to generate detailed GST reports based on orders and products.

Benefits for Vendors

Vendors are allowed to add their GST number to all invoices and other documents.
Vendors can set a GST rate from the backend grid while creating a product.
Vendors can also set a minimum order price to apply GST rates.

Benefits for Customers

Customers can enter the buyer’s GST number to signup.
Customers can update their buyer’s GST number any time they want from their account grid.
